FINANCE DEPARTMENT

The purpose of  the Finance Department is to function as a trustworthy steward of the taxpayers investment in education.  The department strives to efficiently provide financial services to the Wilkinson County School Board, schools, and departments.

This department is responsible for the District's fiscal operations including:

Accounting, financial reporting and internal control
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Budgeting
Financial planning and debt management
Payroll
Purchasing
Prudent investment of available cash resources
Receipt and deposit revenues
