Curriculum and Instruction

Rosie Wilson coordinates and supervises the Division of Curriculum and Instruction for all schools in the district.  She works with campus principals and other supervisors and coordinators to implement programs and practices to enhance student achievement.

Carol Williams, the Reading Specialist, plays a big part in the curriculum.  The specialist purpose is improving students' success in reading by implementing district pacing guides,documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcome; developing lesson plans; modeling the necessary skills to perform assignments; providing a safe and positive learning environment, and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.  

Her assistant, Shawanna Jackson, assists her with the goals and purpose of the district.
